booklit is the book blog of Stewart McAbney, an avid reader from the United Kingdom with tastes spanning contemporary, world, and classic fiction, not to mention the occasional bit of non-fiction.
The intention of the blog is to write about most of the books read by Stewart, hoping to build with time an extensive archive of easily navigable book reviews.

Stewart lives in Glasgow and fits in his reading between work and study. His favourite writers, in an ever changing list, include Umberto Eco, Richard Yates, John Steinbeck, Michel Faber, Patrick McGrath - all woefully underrepresented here. You can find him on GoodReads, last.fm, Twitter, and Flickr. In addition to booklit, he also runs World Literature Forum, an online community for readers of, you guessed it, world literature.
